Meet Kayci — Founder, Creative Director, & Designer

I didn't come from fashion. I came from science.

I graduated from Tuskegee University with a degree in Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary Medicine—driven, disciplined, and determined to be in rooms that weren't expecting me. That same energy carried me to New York City, where I earned my Master’s in Fashion Business from LIM College and built the foundation for everything KAYPHORIA X is today.

I founded KAYPHORIA X in October 2019 not because the industry made space for me, but because I built my own. Since then, I’ve presented at Los Angeles Fashion Week, served as Creative Director for The Model Experience at NYFW, and shared my story with Vogue, Voyage LA, and CanvasRebel.
